Tharun Ramagoni

Tharun Ramagoni is a Senior Java Engineer at GEICO since February 2024, focusing on the frontend development of web applications and the design of data-driven Restful APIs. Prior to this, Ramagoni served as a Lead Software Engineer/Architect at UT Health San Antonio for nearly a decade, where responsibilities included software product development, enhancements, and leading the migration of applications from React class-based components to functional components. Earlier roles at UT Health included Senior Application System Programmer and Application System Programmer, creating web applications with a strong emphasis on web standards and accessibility. Ramagoni's experience also includes working as an Instructional Assistant at the University of Houston and as a Web Application Developer at StudioTale. Educational achievements include a Master of Computer Science from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science.
