Phil C.

Phil C. is an accomplished professional in the drilling and engineering consultancy sector, currently serving as Managing Director at gekko | applied drilling intelligence since February 2020, and as Director at Bedrock Drilling Limited since May 2013. With extensive experience, Phil has previously held positions such as Drilling Director at African Petroleum Corporation Limited, responsible for deepwater exploration in the Gulf of Guinea, and Head of Well Engineering & Operations at Senergy (GB) Ltd, where the focus was on international wells projects. Earlier roles included Technology Manager and Well Engineering Manager at Schlumberger, where contributions were made to rig technology advancements and well engineering integrity in Europe and Africa. Phil's career began with Shell as a Drilling Supervisor and Well Engineer, and earlier in the British Army as an Avionics Engineer. Phil holds a BSc in Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds, obtained between 1994 and 1997.
