Roger de Groot

Roger De Groot holds the position of Burgemeester at Gemeente Noordoostpolder since June 2021. Additionally, Roger serves as a Bestuurslid for the Nederlands Genootschap van Burgemeesters and the VNG afdeling Flevoland, along with the Districtelijk Veiligheidscollege Flevoland and Veiligheidsregio Flevoland, where responsibilities include crisis management and population care. As of December 2022, Roger is a member of the College voor Dienstverleningszaken at the VNG, which provides advice on information policy and service standards. Since September 2023, Roger has taken on the role of Voorzitter at Stimuland and has served as Penningmeester for Stichting Werelderfgoed Nederland while also being the Siteholder for Werelderfgoed Schokland. Leadership roles within Regio Zwolle include membership in the Algemeen Bestuur and chairing the Tafel Leefomgeving.
