Liesbeth Messing has extensive experience in urban planning and cultural heritage preservation. Currently serving as a member of the Monumentencommissie for Gemeente Oisterwijk since June 2016, Liesbeth advises the municipal government on policies related to archaeology, monuments, and cultural history, as well as restoration plans for protected sites. Prior to this role, Liesbeth worked as an urban planner at Gemeente Alkmaar from 1999 to January 2017 and served as an urban planner at VVK/Croonen Adviseurs West between 1997 and 1999. Liesbeth holds a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Planning from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and Urban Planning from Avans University of Applied Sciences. Additional qualifications include training in hormone factors from Sonnevelt Opleidingen and studies at Bernard Lievegoed College for Liberal Arts.
