Pim van Dijk

Pim van Dijk is an experienced professional in the field of public safety and security, currently serving as Teammanager Integrale Veiligheid en Handhaving at Gemeente Schouwen-Duiveland since March 2017. Previous roles include Coördinator Integrale Veiligheid en Handhaving and adviser/policy worker in the same domain. Pim has also held positions such as Member of the Supervisory Board at Prisma-scholen and Chairman of the General Board at Stichting katholiek onderwijs Borsele. Prior to current responsibilities, Pim worked as Programmamanager Integrale Veiligheid and secretary of the safety consultation in Hoeksche Waard, Senior Policy Officer for Public Order and Safety at Gemeente Binnenmaas, and as a program leader at the Centrum voor Criminaliteitspreventie en Veiligheid. Pim’s career began at the Eindhoven Police Department as an immigration officer. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Tilburg University, completed in 2008.
