Marga Vermue

Marga Vermue has extensive experience in public administration, currently serving as Burgemeester of Gemeente Sluis since November 2017. Prior roles include Burgemeester at a local government office from April 2012 to October 2017, and Memb of the Dagelijks Bestuur at Zeeland Seaports from March 2006 to March 2012. Marga also held the position of Wethouder and Loco-Burgemeester at Gemeente Borsele from March 2002 to March 2012 and was a candidate for the CDA elections in 2010. Earlier career achievements include serving as a Senior Bedrijfsjurist at Accon avm from 1997 to 2002 and at the Ministerie van Economische Zaken from 1991 to 1997. Marga Vermue earned a degree in Laws (mr) from Leiden University between 1980 and 1985.
