Sophie Ebbetts has a diverse background in marketing and communications. Sophie started their career as an Intern at Smythson of Bond Street in 2010 before moving to Faberge, where they worked as a Marketing Assistant and later as a Marketing Executive. At Faberge, they managed the global marketing and communication calendar and coordinated retail events and sponsorships. Sophie then joined Harrods as a Marketing Executive, where they developed departmental marketing initiatives and strategic activations for fashion accessories, fine jewellery, and watches. Since 2016, Sophie has been with Gemfields Group, starting as a Marketing Manager for Europe & Africa and moving on to become the Global Marketing Manager. In their current role as Head of Marketing, they are responsible for B2B and B2C marketing globally, focusing on creating desirability for coloured gemstones and raising brand awareness. Sophie's experience includes developing and leading global advertising campaigns, coordinating marketing activations and projects, and collaborating with brands and internal teams to enhance customer experiences.
Sophie Ebbetts obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Performing Arts and Arts Management from Oxford Brookes University in the years 2006 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Fashion and Lifestyle Journalism from the University College for the Creative Arts at various campuses in Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone, and Rochester, from 2009 to 2010.
