Muhammad Abdullah Khalil has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Muhammad Abdullah started their career in 2018 as an Android Developer at Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement. In 2018, they also completed a Ruby on Rails internship at AugmentCare, where they gained experience in writing effective test cases and developing subscription payment modules.
In 2019, they worked as a Backend Developer and React Native Developer at Soop.io, where they utilized React Native to develop a parent app for a school management system. Muhammad Abdullah integrated APIs, designed screens and user flows, and continuously improved the app based on user analytics.
Later in 2019, Muhammad joined 7Vals as a Software Engineer. Here, they primarily focused on integrating client accounts with various accounting software platforms, including QuickBooks Online, XERO, and QuickBooks Desktop. Muhammad Abdullah also developed a C# application to sync data with QuickBooks Desktop and implemented a scheduling algorithm to ensure seamless functioning of integrated services.
From 2020 to 2021, Muhammad worked at REVER as a Back End Developer. Muhammad Abdullah played a crucial role in building and improving highly available and reliable services using Ruby on Rails. Muhammad Abdullah developed and maintained APIs for mobile apps, enhanced the Stripe Subscriptions, and collaborated with front-end and mobile development teams.
In 2021, Muhammad joined Gemnote as a Software Engineer and worked as a Ruby on Rails developer. Their responsibilities included implementing data logging integration and error handling integration, as well as designing and developing an e-commerce module for the company.
Currently, Muhammad is working at Toptal as a Talent Partner, starting from June 2021.
Muhammad Abdullah Khalil completed their Advanced Level education in Engineering at Lahore Grammar School from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a BSC degree in Computer Science at Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2015 to 2019.
