Dev Narayan Syam

Dev Narayan Syam is an emerging leader in environmental sustainability currently serving as a Pledge Officer on Duty for the Environment and Sustainability Council at GEMS Modern Academy in Dubai and as a GEMS Global Ambassador. As the youngest Youth Ambassador for Nature with Emirates Nature-WWF, Dev Narayan participates in conservation efforts and awareness initiatives. Dev Narayan's involvement with YOUNGO focuses on international climate change policies within the UNFCCC framework. As a speaker at COP28, Dev Narayan delivered a presentation on sustainable farming practices in the MENA region. Previous experiences include research internships at FreshToHome and Emax, emphasizing carbon farming and business growth strategies. Educational background includes a High School Diploma from GEMS Education and participation in the Stanford Summer Session.
