Ian Yang

Ian Y. serves as the Director and Co-Founder of Orientime Capital, Inc., a Vancouver-based venture capital firm focused on supporting small to medium-sized enterprises in impactful sectors such as HealthTech and FinTech since June 2021. In addition to this role, Ian holds multiple positions on various boards, including the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC and the Mid-Main Community Health Centre. Additionally, Ian contributes as a Venture Scout at several venture capital firms, such as Beyond Capital, Exitfund, Climate Capital, Earthshot Ventures, and 7BC Venture Capital, alongside being an Investor in the Spring Investing Collective. Ian's extensive educational background includes a Master of Finance from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and previous degrees from UBC, Queen's University, and Shenzhen University.
