Arjan Bormans

Arjan Bormans has had a long career in the sciences, beginning with a Graduate Student role at Texas A&M University in 1997. Arjan then moved to Cogenics in 2006 as a Lead Scientist Technology Development. In 2008, they became an Automation Specialist at Family Tree DNA. In 2013, they were promoted to Director of Research and Development at Gene by Gene. In 2014, they took on the role of Director of Automation/Process Engineering at CompanionDx Reference Lab, LLC. Finally, in 2015, they were appointed Director of Assay Development at Gene by Gene.

Arjan Bormans attended Texas A&M University from 1991 to 1995 and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Arjan then returned to Texas A&M University and completed their PhD in Microbiology in 2005.
