Eric Olivares

Eric Olivares is currently the Chief Product and Technology Officer at GeneDx, and also the Founder of SEQanswers.com, a news and community forum site focused on next generation sequencing technology. With a background in genetics, Eric has held various leadership roles in companies such as Variantyx and Invitae. Eric has also worked as a Staff Scientist at Pacific Biosciences and a Senior Scientist at Invitrogen. Additionally, Eric has experience as a Scientific Writer and Marketing Consultant at System Biosciences, and as a Founding Scientist at Poetic Genetics. Eric holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from Stanford University and a B.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis.
