Bihter Bolek

Bihter Bolek is an experienced professional in health, safety, and environment (HSE) management, currently serving as the Corporate HSE Manager at Genel Energy PLC since November 2013, after progressing through roles such as HSE Manager and Lead HSE Advisor. Prior experience includes positions as HSSE&SP Operations Advisor at Shell Upstream Turkey and HSE Superintendent at Tecnicas Reunidas. Bihter has also held significant roles at GATE (Gama-Tekfen J.V.) as both Deputy Head of HSE and HSE Manager, and worked as an HSE Engineer at Alstom Power. Bihter started a career as a Process Engineer at POLINAS in 2004. Educational credentials include a NEBOSH International General Certificate obtained in 2008 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Gazi University, completed in 2007.
