Angel Perez is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience, product design, and brand strategy across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Studio Design Lead at Genentech since October 2024, Angel previously held the role of Head of Product Experience and Brand at Gardin Agritech, where responsibility included guiding the development of a machine learning-driven sensor product for remote crop monitoring. Prior experience encompasses leadership positions at Intuitive Surgical, where innovations for the DaVinci Surgical Systems were pioneered, as well as founding Silicon Intelligentsia, which enhanced high-speed video technologies for NASA. Angel’s background includes significant contributions at Nest Labs, Microsoft, AKQA, and other organizations, complemented by a solid educational foundation from prestigious institutions such as Stanford University and Eindhoven University of Technology.
