Carol Maloney Sumichrast, M.Ed.

Carol Maloney Sumichrast, M.Ed. has over 30 years of work experience in the field of design. Carol Maloney began their career in 1986 as Assistant Art Director at Editorial Projects in Education, Inc. In 1987, they moved to SHL Systemhouse as a Senior Graphic Designer. In 1995, they established their own company, Sumichrast Design, and served as its Owner. In 2002, they became the Graphic Department Manager at Umix, Inc. Carol Maloney then moved to Health Strategies Group in 2004 as Senior Digital Designer. In 2018, they joined EVERSANA as Senior Digital Designer and in 2021, they were appointed as Sr. Product Designer at LifeLens Technologies, Inc. and Senior Designer at Wunderman Thompson MSC.

Carol Maloney Sumichrast, M.Ed. has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Old Dominion University and a Master of Education in Instructional Design from UMass Boston. Carol Maloney has also obtained certifications from LinkedIn and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, including Cert Prep: Adobe Certified Associate Illustrator (2021), InDesign 2021 Essential Training and InDesign 2021 New Features (2020), Creating a Culture of Learning (2020), Design Thinking: Customer Experience (2020), Evaluating User Interfaces (2017), Prototyping and Design (2017), UI Design (2017), User Research and Design (2017), CSS3 (2015), and HTML5 (2015).
