Grady Howes

Grady Howes is a seasoned Principal Scientific Manager at Genentech, with extensive experience in managing compound management teams both in South San Francisco and Shanghai, collaborating across various scientific disciplines. Since September 2008, Grady has maintained and troubleshot Titian’s Mosaic compound inventory software and Oracle databases while developing applications to enhance workflows. Previous roles at Genentech involved significant contributions to the establishment of the Shanghai Compound Management team, process optimizations in shipping applications and automated storage systems, and overseeing the transition of software versions. Prior to Genentech, Grady held positions at Takeda San Diego, Sequenom, and Stratagene, where responsibilities ranged from supervising compound management operations to developing genetic assays and managing web development projects. Grady holds an M.A. in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco and two B.S. degrees in Information Technology and Molecular Biology.
