Jayson Johnson

Jayson Johnson currently serves as the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Chief of Staff at Genentech, where responsibilities include driving the company's Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy and overseeing the daily operations of the Chief Diversity Officer’s office. With a robust background in D&I, Jayson has held various leadership roles within Genentech, including Head of D&I Business Partnering and Learning & Development and Diversity and Inclusion Talent Strategy Partner. Prior experience includes significant positions at Harvard University, where Jayson managed major and annual gifts, and at Stanford Law School and San Francisco Ballet, focusing on fundraising and development. Jayson is also active in community service as a Commissioner for the San Francisco Human Rights Commission and invests with Portfolia. Educational credentials include a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School and advanced degrees from American University and Washington University in St. Louis.
