Qinying Yu

Qinying Yu is a Senior Scientist at Genentech since October 2021, previously serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2016 to October 2021. At the University, Qinying Yu specialized in advanced proteomics techniques, including isobaric labeling to analyze chemotherapy-induced neurotoxicity in pediatric cerebrospinal fluid and the development of quantitative strategies for sialylated N-glycan analysis. Additionally, Qinying Yu characterized protein signatures in Fragile X models and designed a novel pipeline for mapping O-glycosylation in Alzheimer's disease patients. Prior experience includes a research internship at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, focusing on protein purification and enzyme activity characterization. Educational credentials include a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Shandong University.
