Tom Fish has worked in a number of roles in the public sector since 2009. Tom began their career as an Economic Advisor at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills in 2009. In 2014, they moved to the Bank of England as a Strategy Analyst. In 2016, they became a Senior Economist at Ofgem. In 2018, they had a secondment as a Senior Economist at HM Treasury. Since 2019, they have been an Assistant Director at the Competition and Markets Authority. Tom is currently the Head of Public Policy and Research at Gener8.
Tom Fish obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from The University of Sheffield in 2008, following a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the same university, which they completed in 2007.
