Jon Sjoberg

Jon Sjoberg is an experienced software engineering manager currently employed at General Atomics since September 2023. Prior to this role, Jon served as the Principal Software Engineer at EO Vista from May 2020 to September 2023, and as Chief Engineer at Goodrich ISR Systems from October 2010 to May 2020, where responsibilities included real-time work with embedded Linux, control systems, system design, and leading teams of over 15 engineers. Jon's consulting experience as an Embedded Systems Consultant at DJA Solutions spanned from February 2006 to May 2020, and an academic role as an Adjunct Professor at Daniel Webster College was held between August 2006 and August 2008. Earlier in Jon's career, positions included Senior Engineer and Project Manager at Top Layer Networks, Senior Engineer R&D at Nortel Networks, and Senior Engineer at Harris RF Communications. Jon holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Software from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University.
