Ripley Hartmeyer

Ripley Hartmeyer is an accomplished executive talent leader with significant experience in the venture capital and executive search industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Executive Talent at General Catalyst since January 2022, Ripley oversees enterprise, fintech, and international talent initiatives. Prior to this role, Ripley was the Director of Executive Talent at Canvas Ventures, where responsibilities included heading talent and community efforts as well as investor relations. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Talent & Community and Associate in the TMT Practice at Spencer Stuart, contributing to senior-level executive search and governance best practices. Ripley began a career at Oxford Global US as a Senior Associate, focusing on risk management. An educational background includes a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Richmond, with a concentration in Economics and a minor in French, complemented by studies at Queen Mary University of London and preparatory education at Groton School and The Green Vale School.
