Senior Principal System Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems

Robert Carpenter, PE, PMP has extensive work experience in various roles. Robert started their career at NASA KSC as a Systems Engineer from December 1988 to April 1996. Afterwards, they joined the U.S. Army PEO STRI / ECS as a Senior Advisor, where they worked from April 1996 to September 2017. During this time, they also served as a Senior Principal System Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems since September 2017. Additionally, Robert has a background in music and has been the Principal Tuba player for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra since 1993.

Robert Carpenter, PE, PMP completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University from 1983 to 1988. Robert also completed a Bachelor of Music degree in Tuba Performance during the same period at Northwestern University.
