Simon Childs

Simon Childs has extensive experience in supply chain management and procurement. Simon has a proven track record in managing and delivering operational projects, including logistics support and repair activities. Simon'sprevious roles include Head of Supply Chain, Supply Chain Operations Manager, and Supply Chain Manager at General Dynamics UK Limited. Simon has also worked as a Subcontract Manager and GDUK Asset Manager, where they were responsible for subcontract delivery and asset management. Prior to their time at General Dynamics, Childs worked as a Procurement Agent at Zodiac Aerospace and as a Materials Buyer at Hexion Specialty Chemicals.

Simon Childs attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2008 to 2009, where they studied CIPS. Simon also attended Bath Spa University from 1996 to 1999, studying CIPS as well.
