Adam Hardie

Adam Hardie is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the defense sector. Currently serving as Platform Services Lead - Principal Engineer at General Dynamics since December 2019, Adam manages a team focused on Land Platforms, Maritime, and Static installations, overseeing installation, design, certification, and project planning. Previously, Adam worked at General Dynamics UK Limited from April 2005 to December 2019 as a Senior Engineer/Vetronics Engineer, focusing on the implementation of Bowman communication systems for military contracts. Early career experience includes roles at Vickers Defence Systems, where Adam held various engineering positions from 1997 to 2005, including Mechanical/Design Engineer and Quality/Audit Engineer, and supervising a team in vehicle maintenance. Adam began a career in engineering as an Airframes Technician in the Royal Air Force, specializing in hydraulics and mechanical systems from November 1983 to June 1996.
