Paul Conley

Paul Conley is the Founder and CEO of General Inception, a venture igniter company. Paul is also the Managing Director at Vertical Venture Partners, an early stage investor in B2B start-ups. Additionally, Paul holds the position of Managing Director for Venture Studio Operations at Paladin Capital Group. Paul serves as a Board Member or Observer in several companies including 10X Genomics, Constructive Bio, Twist Bioscience, Inscripta, Inc., Menlo Micro, COMPASS Pathways plc, and Alida Biosciences. Paul has a PhD in Computational Physics from UC San Diego, an ME in Bioengineering from UC San Diego, and an MS/BS in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia.
