Janet Gray

Janet Gray is an experienced professional with a diverse background in nursing and legal advisory roles. Currently serving as an Associate at the General Medical Council since May 2011, Janet has held several leadership positions including Head of GMC Northern England and Head of the Corporate Review Team. Prior to this, Janet worked as a Fitness to Practise Consultant at the Nursing and Midwifery Council and as a Legal Consultant at Janet Gray LLP. With earlier roles at the General Medical Council and Weightmans, Janet transitioned from a nursing career, having worked in various NHS and private hospitals from 1985 to 1998, where the focus was on RGN posts. Janet's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Liverpool and additional legal qualifications from The Law Society.
