Scott Lacourse

Scott LaCourse is a seasoned packaging engineer with extensive experience in various manufacturing roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Principal Packaging Engineer at General Mills since August 2010, Scott specializes in form-fill-seal packaging, focusing on profitability through cost-saving measures and performance improvements. Previously, Scott held positions as Plant Manager and Technical/Engineering Manager at A.L.P. Lighting Components, where substantial team restructuring and system improvements led to significant safety and quality enhancements. At Spartech Corporation, Scott managed extrusion operations and implemented Lean Manufacturing principles to boost efficiency. Earlier experience included roles at Curwood, Inc. and Dow Automotive Systems, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University. Additionally, Scott has a certification as a Lean Manufacturing Master Facilitator from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
