Scott Anderson is a seasoned materials engineer with extensive experience in polymer formulation and process development. Currently serving as a Senior Materials Engineer at General Plastics Mfg. Co. since October 2018, Scott focuses on thermoplastics, elastomers, and foams for several industries, including Aviation, Transportation, Electronics, and Building and Construction. Prior to this role, Scott held the position of Technical Manager in R&D at JELD-WEN, Inc., where responsibilities included directing the development of exterior doors and windows. Additionally, Scott worked as a Materials Development Engineer at Michelin, contributing to rubber compound formulation for passenger car tires, and as a Materials Research Engineer, innovating material concepts for non-pneumatic tires. Scott holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Washington State University.
