Al Contrera

Al Contrera, CLU, currently serves as the Commercial Head of Retail Sales at Generali Global Assistance, leading a national sales team focused on driving new business and enhancing partner relationships. Prior to this role, Al had extensive experience at CUNA Mutual Group, where positions included Vice President and Head of Sales for CUNA Brokerage Services Inc., managing a large team of financial advisors and expanding product distribution networks. Al also owned Almark Sports Inc., developing the Great Hands baseball training gloves, and worked at various financial institutions including Marsh & McLennan, Citi/Smith Barney, and Edward Jones, demonstrating a strong background in sales, financial planning, and insurance. Al holds a BA in Business Management/Economics from Vanguard University of Southern California.
