Stefan Lehmann

Stefan graduated in Economics at the University of Bochum and holds an Executive MBA in General & Strategic Management from Maastricht School of Management. He started his career at WestLB Panmure Investment Banking in London and Düsseldorf.

He joined Generali in 2004 in the department Strategic Planning & Controlling, becoming Head of Participations Management in 2005. Between 2007 and 2017 he held various managerial positions within Generali Germany, including Head of Corporate Controlling & Development of Generali Deutschland Schadenmanagement, Head of Customer Service of CosmosDirect Versicherungen, Head of Strategic Planning & Controlling and Country Functional Head of Controlling.

In 2017 Stefan was promoted Chief Financial Officer of Generali Deutschland AG and in this function, he held different board roles in group companies.

From January 2022, he was appointed Chief Business Officer Exclusive of Generali Deutschland AG and Chief Executive Officer of Generali Deutschland Versicherung AG and Generali Deutschland Lebensversicherung AG. In addition, Stefan is holding several external mandates and represents Generali's interests in various industry associations.
