Herbert Chiou

Herbert Chiou has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Herbert has held various roles in companies such as Generation Bio, Omega Therapeutics, Moderna, Lonza, Lupin Inhalation Research Center, 3M, and the University of Sydney. Throughout their career, Herbert has worked on the development and characterization of drug products, particularly focusing on lipid nanoparticles and mRNA formulations. Herbert has also been involved in particle engineering, process development, analytical method development, and product testing. Herbert has demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring and coaching team members, and has collaborated with internal and external partners.

Herbert Chiou pursued their education at the University of Sydney, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Chemistry between 1997 and 2000. Herbert furthered their studies at the same university and obtained a PhD in Chemistry from 2001 to 2004.
