Nicholas Parsonnet

Nicholas Parsonnet is a Senior Scientist in Molecular Biology at Generation Bio, having joined the company in November 2019 after initially serving as a Scientist in the same field. Prior to this, Nicholas Parsonnet completed a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Colorado Boulder, where the graduate research focused on the biochemical characterization of functional RNA-protein interactions, particularly regarding transcription factors and RNA accommodation. Nicholas Parsonnet also held positions as a Graduate Student, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant during the academic tenure from 2012 to 2019, alongside earlier experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Cell Culture Assistant from 2009 to 2011, contributing to research on the Mediator complex and cell culture maintenance. Nicholas Parsonnet holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 2011.
