Bridget Cassidy

Bridget Cassidy has 35 years of experience serving students from pre-kindergarten through middle school as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, literacy coach, and dyslexic interventionist. First, a classroom teacher, Bridget began working as a reading specialist building abilities in reading in the content areas. Literacy coaching helped increase knowledge and understanding of dyslexia’s varying forms, enhancing teachers’ instruction and improving students' achievement. Bridget has certification in Orton-Gillingham's methodologies: Comprehensive and Morphology plus as well as a Practicum Supervisor.

Through her work, Bridget has shown the ability to relate to teachers, model engaging instruction, and provide educators with tools to organize and build a conducive learning environment.
