Michael Hissong

Michael Hissong currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Genesee & Wyoming Inc., a position held since June 2021. Prior experience includes various roles at CSX from June 2014 to June 2021, starting as an Assistant Roadmaster after completing a six-month management trainee program, and progressing through the ranks to Roadmaster I, II, and overseeing one of CSX's top five humpyards. Key skills acquired during this period include derailment investigation, capital project completion, quality control, and project management. Michael Hissong earned a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering from The University of Toledo between 2009 and 2013.
