Dwayne Taylor

Dwayne Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries. Dwayne currently holds the position of Head of Commercial Technology at Genesis since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Genesis in various roles including Chapter Lead Technical Product Owners, Digital Enablement Manager (secondment), Tribe Lead, Program Manager, and Project Manager.

Before joining Genesis, Dwayne worked at Ezipay Limited as an Operations Manager from January 2009 to January 2012, where they were responsible for staff management & development, relationship management with suppliers and customers, technical and operational aspects of the business, project management, and system and process design.

Dwayne also worked at ZeroOne as a General Manager from April 2007 to December 2008, overseeing web development, web hosting, application development, staff management, preparing statement of work and quotation documents, and HR responsibilities.

Dwayne's earlier experiences include working as a General Manager at Finco Group from February 2005 to March 2007, where they managed various entities including a vineyard and finance companies, and as a New Business Development Manager at Connect Financial Solutions from February 2004 to January 2005.

Dwayne started their career at National Bank of New Zealand as a Business Banking Manager in May 1998 and worked there until February 2004. Prior to that, they worked at ASB Bank as a Commercial Account Manager from April 1994 to April 1998.

Dwayne Taylor attended Forest View High School from 1985 to 1989. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance at The University of Waikato from 1990 to 1994.
