Greg Blewett

Greg Blewett has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Outage Program Manager at Genesis since 2010, where responsibilities include managing the Generation Plant Outage program across the fleet. Prior roles at Genesis include Plant Coordinator, overseeing the coordination and safety of generation plant assets and managing project outages. Greg's background also includes operating various gas and coal-fired generating units and being part of the commissioning team for significant gas turbine projects. Prior to this, Greg worked as a Spot Trader during a transitional period for ECNZ and held operator positions before the company's split into separate entities. Greg Blewett holds multiple relevant qualifications, including NZ National Certificates in Project Management, Electricity Supply, and Energy and Chemical Management, as well as a Mechanical Technician certificate from the Auckland Technical Institute.
