Maria C. Suarez

Maria C. Suarez, JD, CHC is currently working as the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Genesis, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Regency Integrated Health Services, LLC from October 2017 to July 2022. From July 2012 to July 2017, they held the position of Executive Director of Compliance at the University of Miami. Before that, they worked as a Network Manager at Beacon Health Strategies from November 2010 to June 2012. Maria also served as the Director of Contract and Risk Management at United HomeCare Services, Inc. from May 2008 to November 2010. Maria C. began their career as an Attorney at Maria C. Suarez, P.A. from September 2000 to May 2005.

Maria C. Suarez, JD, CHC completed their education at the University of Miami School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctor degree in Law in 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. degree in Psychology & Criminology from the University of Miami in 1987. Maria C. completed their high school education at Champagnat Catholic School from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, in January 2017, they obtained certification as a Certified Healthcare Compliance professional.
