Rick Thacker

Rick Thacker is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in quality management and operational excellence. Currently serving as Vice President of People & Operational Excellence at Genesis Products since July 2018, Rick leads various functions including Business Operations Systems, Human Resources, and Engineering. Prior to this role, Rick held several senior positions at Whirlpool Corporation, including Senior Director of North American Quality, where leadership of cross-functional teams contributed to high-quality product delivery across North America. Rick's diverse background also includes significant roles in supplier quality engineering at Harman/Becker Automotive Systems, underscoring a strong commitment to quality and process improvement throughout a career spanning over three decades. Rick holds a B.S. in Technology from Indiana State University and has pursued education at Indiana University Indianapolis.
