James O'Cull

James O'Cull is a seasoned software architect and team lead with extensive experience in backend development and application architecture. Since May 2018, James has been with Genesys, contributing to critical backend Java services in AWS datacenters, emphasizing high resiliency, availability, and cost efficiency. Previously at DelMar Software Development from June 2011 to May 2018, James worked as a senior software engineer and project lead, delivering custom software solutions tailored to clients' needs. James began a career in October 2006 as a web application developer at Purdue University - ITaP Informatics, where contributions included development and architecture of interactive teaching tools. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Information Technology from Purdue University.
