Peter Westermann

Peter Westermann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software development and architecture, currently serving as Director and Analytics Software Architect at Genesys since September 2017. Peter has held multiple roles at Genesys, including Team Lead and Lead Software Engineer. Prior to this, Peter contributed as a Senior Software Engineer at Genesys | Interactive Intelligence and worked as a Senior Software Developer at BFSt, focusing on IP protocols and Big Data solutions. Peter's early career includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at TU Dortmund University, where instruction on digital signal processing was provided, and an internship at Nokia, where performance-optimized signal processing algorithms were developed. Peter holds a Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering as well as an Engineer's Degree, both from TU Dortmund University.
