Balint Kacsoh

Balint Kacsoh serves as the Engagement Professional Development Program Coordinator at the Genetics Society of America since April 2022, while also engaging audiences as a Science Streamer at Twitch, streaming live science content daily. Balint's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular and Systems Biology from Dartmouth College, alongside dual Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Biology from Emory University. Prior experience includes postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania, where Balint investigated mechanisms regulating gene expression related to chromatin structure within ant societies, and roles as a laboratory technician focusing on Drosophila genetics at both Emory University and Dartmouth College.
