Sasha Kugel, PhD

Sasha Kugel, PhD has a diverse work experience in data science and research. Sasha is currently the Data Science Lead at Genetika+, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Genetika+ from February 2021 to August 2022. Before joining Genetika+, they were a Data Scientist at Furious Corp. from February 2019 to October 2020.

Sasha also has a strong academic background, having worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from June 2017 to September 2018. Sasha was also a Researcher and PhD Student at the same university from 2012 to May 2017.

Earlier in their career, Sasha worked as a Programmer at Internet Teams Ltd. from 2008 to 2012.

From 2004 to 2008, Sasha attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Bioinformatics.

Subsequently, Sasha pursued a Master's Degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2008 to 2012.

Finally, from 2012 to 2016, Sasha continued their education at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology.
