Jean-Michel Germain

Jean-Michel GERMAIN has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Their most recent role is Vice President of Clinical Development at GENFIT, where they have been since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at DBV Technologies as the Senior Vice President and Head of Clinical Operations from 2018 to 2020, and as the Senior Vice President of Medical and Scientific Strategy from 2017 to 2018. Before joining DBV Technologies, Jean-Michel held the position of Global Director of Medical Affairs - Neurology at IPSEN Pharma from 2015 to 2017. Jean-Michel also worked at Pfizer for several years, where they held different roles including Director of Scientific Operations, Director of Business Operations, Scientific Affairs Manager, and Global Trial Director - Europe. Jean-Michel started their career at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where they worked as a Clinical Scientist and later progressed to the role of Assistant/Associate Director - Clinical Scientist Neuroscience.

Jean-Michel GERMAIN obtained a Master's Degree in Enzymology from University Paris XI - Orsay in 1992. Jean-Michel then went on to complete their PhD in Biochemistry at the same university from 1992 to 1995, focusing on Chemoenzymatic access to Ganglioside GD2.
