Dr. Sothy K.

Dr. Sothy K. has a long history of working in the fintech and DeFi space. In 2021, they co-founded Genius Yield - Cardano-powered DEX & Yield Optimizer. In 2022, they became a Co-Founder & Advisor of Genius X - Web3-Driven Accelerator & Launchpad. Since 2002, they have worked as a Fintech and DeFi Advisor, with their area of expertise being strategy, business & corporate development and regulations. Dr. Sothy has also served in various executive roles in traditional finance (TradFi), with their last corporate role being CEO of the VP Bank's Fund Management devision with over 6bn AuM.

Dr. Sothy K. obtained a Dr. iur. from the Private Universität im Fürstentum Liechtenstein for their doctorate thesis about Alternative Investment Funds. Dr. Sothy also holds a Master's degree from the University of Basel. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Dr. Sothy K. was a Captain in the Höhere Kaderausbildung der Armee HKA, where they studied Military and Strategic Leadership. Dr. Sothy also attended Kantonsschule Sargans.
