Vikrant Maitra

Vikrant Maitra is the current Finance Controller at GENLEAP. Vikrant has over fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate, origination, underwriting, and due diligence.

Maitra began their career in 2005 as a Team Lead at Helix Advisors India Private Limited. In this role, they were responsible for originating and underwriting income-producing commercial real estate assets for the U.S. market. This included full service underwriting and property due diligence for big institution of U.S. commercial market. The process included lease review, rent roll validations, underwriting rents, preparing variance analysis for income-expenses statements/budgets, and preparation of packages for Credit Committee submissions.

In 2009, Maitra transitioned to their current role as Finance Controller at GENLEAP. In this role, they are responsible for the financial planning and analysis of the company. This includes preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.

Vikrant Maitra completed their undergraduate degree at Kurukshetra University and went on to complete their Masters of Financial Management at the same school.

Vikrant Maitra reports to Sachin Sandhir, Founder & CEO. They work with Shweta Kataria - Co-Founder & Chief Product & Marketing Officer, Nitin Thakur - Co-Founder & Managing Director, and Shruti Shah Kathuria - Chief Strategic Alliances officer.
