Uichong Yi

Uichong Yi has over 17 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Uichong started their career at Core Microsolutions, Inc in 2004 as Chief Scientist, where they worked until November 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Advanced Liquid Logic as a Principal Engineer. In 2013, they joined Illumina as a Sr Staff Engineer and stayed there until September 2016. Uichong Yi then moved to GenMark Diagnostics, where they held the position of Principal Engineer from September 2016 to December 2021. Currently, they serve as a Research Leader at GenMark Diagnostics starting from January 2022.

Uichong Yi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego from 1992 to 1996. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering at UCLA, which they successfully completed from 1997 to 2004.
