Bruce T. completed their Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Chicago in 1986. Bruce then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where they received an MD PhD in Immunology and Molecular Genetics in 1992. From 1995 to 1998, they completed an Oncology Residency and Post Doctoral Fellowship in Molecular Genetics at Yale University School of Medicine.
