Nicholas Siano has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field since 2008. Nicholas began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Delaware in 2008 and 2010. In 2011, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the same university. In 2014, they became a PhD Student and Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University. In 2016, they began working at Amicus Therapeutics as a Senior Associate Scientist in Discovery Science, then moved to Senior Associate Scientist in Global Technical Operations, then Associate Scientist in Global Technical Operations, and finally as a Contractor - Associate Scientist. In 2022, they began working as a Scientist in Cell & Molecular Biology at Gennao Bio.
Nicholas Siano completed their Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Studies from the University of Delaware between 2007 and 2011. Nicholas then earned a Master of Science in Animal Sciences with a focus on Molecular Biology, Virology, and Immunology from the same university between 2007 and 2014. In 2011, they also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics-Life Sciences Concentration from the University of Delaware. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Sciences with a focus on Molecular Biology, Virology, and Immunology from North Carolina State University in 2016.
