Raziya Masumi is a Legal Expert at Genocide Watch since March 2023, focusing on reporting violations of religious minority rights and women's rights in Afghanistan, as well as researching Taliban crimes and managing related databases. Previously, Raziya served as a Data Manager for Volunteer Activists, translating data on Iranian workers' rights and assessing training courses. As the Afghanistan Project Manager at Arseh Sevom from November 2018 to December 2021, Raziya facilitated collaboration with women's rights organizations and contributed to various human rights initiatives. Raziya also has experience as a Program Manager at Impassion Afghanistan, assisting in organizing significant summits and projects for civil society. Earlier roles include administrative and coordination duties at the Transition Coordination Commission and DK – German Medical Diagnostic Center Ltd. Raziya holds a Bachelor's degree in Public and Private Law and is currently pursuing a degree in International and European Law at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
