Youssef Abili has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics. Youssef started their career as a Laboratory Analyst and Student Tutor at the Università del Piemonte Orientale in 2015. Youssef later worked as a Bioinformatics Analyst at the Molecular Biotechnology Centre from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Modis as an Academy SQL, ETL Developer for a short period. Youssef then worked at S&P Brain as a Collaborator from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, they completed a Bioinformatics Fellowship at the Candiolo Cancer Institute IRCCS. Currently, they are a Bioinformatics Developer R&D at GenomeUp since 2023. In addition, they also had a Bioinformatics Fellowship at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, where they focused on the study of personalized therapies through DNA analysis.
Youssef Abili obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale in 2016. In 2016, they also participated in an Erasmus program as an exchange student at the University of Wroclaw, studying Biotechnology. From 2017 to 2019, Youssef pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology at the Università degli Studi di Torino.
In terms of additional certifications, Youssef completed the "Python for Genomic Data Science" course offered by Coursera in August 2020. Youssef also completed the "Bash Shell Scripting Crash Course" and "Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp with R" courses offered by Udemy in July 2020. Youssef has expressed an interest in Private Equity and Venture Capital, and has explored the topic through courses offered by Coursera, although it is unclear whether they obtained specific certifications in this field. Additionally, Youssef has shown an interest in Startup Valuation Methods and The Science and Business of Biotechnology, although it is unknown whether they obtained certifications in these areas.
